Q. Are all the items made at Alum Bay?
A.Yes all the items on the web site are made at Alum Bay, Isle of Wight, England.
Q. Do the colours/silver/gold fade over time?
A. No. The precious metals are fused into the glass so will hold the colour for a lietime.
Q. Are the colours made from the coloured sands at Alum Bay?
A. No. The sands are not pure enough for our glass, so we buy the colours in.
Q. Can you put water into the vases?
A. Yes, but not hot water as it may crack the glass.
Q. Can you get 2 (or more) vases/items the same?
A. Not identical, no. As our glass is handmade and we do not use measuring tools or gauges so our items will vary in size and shape. Though we will endeavour to find two items as similar as possible if requested.
Q: What courier do you use?
A: Most orders will be dispatched via Royal Mail First Class post. For some larger orders we may use another courier.
Q: If I’m not happy with my purchase, can I return it to you and get a refund?
A: Yes, providing that you send it back with your receipt within 7 days of delivery. Refunds will not include the cost to you of returning the item(s) to us unless the item(s) is broken or damaged.
Q: If the item(s) arrive damaged, can I get a refund?
A: Yes, but you must let us know that it arrived damaged within 7 days of receipt of your item.
