Definitions
“Alum Bay Glass” indicates Heritage Attractions Limited trading as Alum Bay Glass
Delivery
Stock permitting, your order will be despatched in 10 working days and sooner if possible. However during busy periods please allow 14 working days. We do not currently offer delivery overseas.
If an item is out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the expected delivery date.
Christmas Orders
Orders for Christmas must be received by 5th December to ensure pre-Christmas delivery.
Returns & Exchanges
We will gladly refund or exchange an item that you are not happy with.
We will pay return postage on a defective item (bubbles within the glass are not a fault, they are natural to handmade glass); however if you do not like an item & wish to exchange it, you will be responsible for all outward and return postage costs. If you need to return an item to us, please securely wrap it up, including a copy of your original receipt. Send to our address in the Contact Us section of this site.
We do not take responsibility for returned goods that are lost or damaged in transit & would advise you send items 'insured registered delivery' & keep the receipt. Damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
Every care has been taken to portray & describe items accurately using current web technology, however slight variations may occur. As Alum Bay Glass is handmade, all dimensions on the website are approximate and variations in colour, pattern and dimensions may vary from descriptions and information associated with any product on this site.
Availability
Unless otherwise stated, the products and services featured on this web site are only available within the United Kingdom, or in relation to postings from the United Kingdom. All advertising is intended only for the United Kingdom market.
Cancellation
You have the right to cancel you order within 7 working days without giving a reason. In all these cases the 7 working days start from the day after the day you receive the goods. To cancel your order in this way, please email us at alumbayglass@theneedles.co.uk or telephone 0871 720 0022 quoting your order number.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations require that the customer is to provide written notice of cancellation within the 7 working days

Every effort is made to ensure that our products are made to the highest standard.
Should you be at all unhappy with our service for any reason, do not hesitate to call or email us & we will ensure your complaint is dealt with in the best possible way.
A presentation box is included on all glassware orders.
Alum Bay Glass takes the security and privacy of its systems and its customers' data very seriously. We constantly review our systems and data to ensure the best possible service to our customers. Parliament has created specific offences for unauthorised actions against computer systems and data. We will investigate any such actions with a view to prosecuting and/or taking civil proceedings to recover damages against those responsible.
Exclusions and Limitations
The information on this web site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alum Bay Glass;
a) excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents, including in relation to any inaccuracies or omissions in this website. The Sale of Goods Act establishes that goods must correspond with the "description" applied to them. Where that is not the case, you as the customer are entitled to reject the goods within a reasonable time, and claim a full refund; and
b) excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of things or you have advised Alum Bay Glass of the possibility of such potential loss) or any indirect and incidental damages. We believe consequential loss to be claimable if it is a loss, which could reasonably be supposed to have been within the contemplation of the parties, at the time of the contract, as the probable result of a breach.
Alum Bay Glass does not however exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence. The above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. None of your statutory rights as a consumer are affected.
Content Changes
Alum Bay Glass may make changes to the contents of this website, including to the descriptions and prices of goods and services advertised, at any time and without notice.
